Hi

It was a good night, got my Synscan working correctly after trying the 2nd time & having a good read from previous postings from other people, looked at the following items using the goto:

Polaris, Mizar, Dubhe, the andromeda galaxy (it appeared as a big smudge) but still nice to look at, altair, capella, a double star cluster ( i forgot the number), deneb, vega & i can't remember the others.
