A bit of the Veil in Bicolor

Not been doing any imaging since the spring, so I eased myself into things with a bit of random asteroid and nebula imaging and observing till 4 am. I'll pay for that later. It was great to reaquaint myself with things again.

This is the result of just 50 minutes each of HA and Oiii, in 5 minute exposures. This is my favourite bit of the veil. I remember when I first saw it visually for the first time. I think I like the fact that 52 Cygni shouts out at you in contrast with the delicate filaments, although I know that it's not to everyone's taste Processed in Photoshop with a synthesised green channel.

250mm f/4.7 Newtonian, Atik 428ex.
