Sol in Ha 11 August 2018 with new ASI174MM

Took delivery of a new ZWO ASI 174MM camera yesterday. The seeing was lousy with wispy cloud then cloud cover blowing in so the images below were done without a flat and were rushed to say the least, starting with 2,000 frame avi's reducing to 500 frames as the clouds arrived.

The main reason for the purchase of the 174 was to achieve greater resolution and image size so I could (hopefully) put some solar mosaics together. Well, the output is below. Not great, certainly not happy with them but you have to the bad days with the good.

Well that's certainly a great start. Will be good to see what you can do with a bit of time and some decent conditions to play with.
