I have seen some great fireballs in the past years from this meteor shower . Get where it is dark for the best of them . LP cities interfere too much for good shows !!  Start looking now !

I saw some wonderfully bright ones last Saturday. Not too many but the ones I did see were very bright and colourful

I've set up my laptop recording detections using the Graves Radar. A rough figure for last night is 160, so about 16 per hour. Mostly small traces. Seems to be less than the daytime arietids were, which gave me some big traces, but plenty of time to 'hot up'.

Showing 26 in last 33 minutes, but that's just the raw count and probably includes some noise.
