Upgrade to my eyepieces

Hello everybody!

I have a stock Celestron Powerseeker 127EQ.

I want to upgrade my barlow and my eyepieces.  What would you suggest?  I do not want to go overboard, I just want to have a better view...

I think to look into further we really need to know your budget. As always the options can be endless. That said the budget then dictates what option to go with TBH.

If you don’t want to go overboard with budget then these BST Starguiders EP’s are very popular. Got a 5mm EP myself that works really well.

Be aware this can be a very open ended question without some constraints. 

EP costs range from £20 for a simple plossle with a narrow FOV, heading to many hundreds of pounds for (so called) exoctic glass with very a wide FOV - and many, many options in between.

Starguiders are a good quality upgrade. The 8mm would be the highest power eyepiece for that scope based on previous reports.

BTW, AgenaAstro provide a great service, most of my orders arrive in the UK in under two weeks, when I ordered the massive ES82 30mm it arrived after one and a half weeks - superb service.  Highly recommended.
