Most of my stuff is in France, including my best filters.  For family reasons I've had to spend the last 6 months in UK so have been gradually piecing together second-string observing kit from second-hand sources.  I'll certainly look out for an OIII filter, though as I'm getting surprisingly good experiences, in spite of the LP, so if I can improve on that...  I guess the stars at night are still big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas.
