Thats I useful light.

I might just wander down to woolies and splash the 99p onto the credit card.

Also if you need batteries the cheap woolies alkanilne batteries last just as well (or even better) the more famously named brands.

Yes the tripod is good, I've got one, and it holds a D70 and 500mm mirror lens easily, also ok for the 80mm as a grab and go, not the worlds best tripod, but for £14 brilliant.

Looks exactly the tripod I bought last year under the Soligor name, for $29.99, on sale. Haven't used it a lot, but it seems to work OK.

More than likely, this lot buy lots of stuff from China, and brand it under thier own label, ( like most companies today)

Buy it realising its short comings, and cheap enough, that if i breaks in a year or so, no great lose.
