Running travel kit off windows tablet?

I read somewhere on here (I cannot find the thread) about using a small windows tablet type device, and using some adapter to convert it to take usb plugs?

There was refurbished model linked for around £55.

I was wondering if any one can point me in the right direction of such an item!

I want to run my SA mount, guide cam, etc on it.

When you say "run" presumably you don't mean power ?

Wouldn't want one with a cracked screen.

unless its the pro model , microsoft tablets tend to be a bit underpowered. for travel you'd be better off with a stand alone guider wouldnt you?

Depends on if the USB port on the tablet is OTG compatible (you’ll need an OTG adaptor lead) and even then might only power a camera as the port isn’t intended to power external devices. My android tablet powers a ZWO camera OK.

Timely... I'm fighting with getting my hpstream 7 back in to operation for holiday.  It is currently frustrating all my efforts to update it... ?
