Not a lot i could do with the image , i needed to give the back drop some more depth , and also make the stars smaller , which i seem to have done , i think its just enhanced the image a little bit better ,

Thanks Caz , i think i will put ole horsey to rest now , and hopefully learn LRGB for next year , i,m happy with that result , now move on to something else,

Only asking this because I've been reading obsessively but could the vignetting be down to a problem with your flat frames. Hark at me, I haven't a clue how to use them yet but I do know the T-shirt method for getting them :insects1:

Naaa its not that Martin its getting the right distance from the chip , i,m using the 5x reducer from Berm , but Arthur said i would get this and looks like he is right , so may have to go for that one ,

Yes Rog you have made a great image even finer I've said this before in your pictures the 3d effect you can get to come out of them is amazing such depth& definition bring out the great 3D effect cracking mate just cracking
