Pete Presland

photo bombed eclipse test

Recommended Posts

I thought I would do a quick field of view test, just in case it is clear tonight ?

Using my Canon 450/ED80 I wanted to make sure there was a decent amount of room around the Moon, so when it is rising I might capture a few horizon details. 1st photo last night and a plane flew straight across the disc.

I can count on one hand how many times this has happened to me, its a good omen for tonight I am sure...……. ? Fingers crossed everybody!

Nicely caught! :) Was out testing widefield shots with my Canon 4000D last night. Nothing as dramatic as yours with anything flying in front of though.

Forecast looking dodgy, may have to catch it between thunderstorms.
