Interesting pattern.

Was messing around with moon/planet/star trails tonight, one set I dimmed to capture detail of moon.  In post process I raised exposure and this strange pattern began to emerge.  Sony chip or lens pattern?  The brighter set came out better / second image.

It looks like some kind of moire pattern: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moiré_pattern 

I have no idea what caused it though....

Very interesting effect! It does look like a Moire pattern as pointed out by @Pompey Monkey. Possibly the various surfaces of the chip  causing interference, but just a guess, hopefully someone with more knowledge can tell us.

I do now its been pointed out, although I didn't know who Greedo was until the phot was posted ? The 2nd image looks like the break up of Tiangong 2 with fragments burning up in the atmosphere.
