Messier Marathon imaging session

I have heard of observers looking to view the entire Messier catalogue in one night but never heard of some one attempting to image them all in one session. Dalton Wilson from a site in New Mexico in March got them all except one, some of his images are better than my attempts in the last 3 years, awesome.

Yeah, it is possible from more southerly latitudes than us in the UK.  There was a video on astro imaging session about it and it is very interesting.

Recommendation is to use Single Shot colour camera and three one mins exposures, forget multiple filtes becasuse you do only will get one sub and so if your out of focus/aircraft trail etc you atr stuffed.  Forget plate solving and autoficus every frame, there isnt time for that!
