Yet another virtually cloud free day! Views of the Sun probably one of the best this year so far in terms of quality and content. Wonderful variety and complexity of proms, a real challenge for the sketchers!. Looking forward to early evening when the solar images are usually at their best.    ?

I've been popping g out all day to use a look through my Lunt 50 Ha and my new Pentax XW 10mm. WOW! What a fantastic set of prominences all around the limb - just stunning and very nice indeed in the XW.
