Good luck Rob. You should get some fine views with that scope. Just need to wait for it to get higher in the sky later in the night.

My 90/800mm scope is a little small for anything more than larger surface variations, but last time I looked I could see the polar cap. It's so exciting to see a planet that feels somehow familiar, with an atmosphere, polar caps, and "continents"! :)

I've been using a 6mm ultra-wide angle eyepiece so far, it gives nice sharp views with a real sense of being in space. Unfortunately my PDS just doesn't give enough magnification to see stuff, and also I'm not as good at collimation as I ought to be! ;)
