its going to take awhile  because the bugs are bad over here. (learning to use my powerseeker 127EQ ) we are looking at the Moon >as you can see i am amature i might need to use a different lens next time****

Hi & welcome to SGL. 

I would say that your first problem is that it looks WAY out of focus. Next time try going through the entire range of the focusser slowly. As you approach focus, things get smaller and a lot sharper. The moon is a good thing to try with as it is obviously there even when focus is way out. As you acheve focus the craters will just pop out.

there were too many bugs here in tennessee to really  focus on any thing . that's not going to stop me..  ( just  starting )

How long have you had your telescope?  Is it new, or used?  Did you purchase it for yourself, or was it a gift from someone?
