david_taurus83
As mentioned in another topic, I got wierd gradients in a Pixinsight stack and no gradients in a DSS stack! So i tried the Blink process and sure enough, only 2 subs in and for the next 40 odd subs a horrible gradient washed over the image! So the attached is only 40 subs of 60 seconds! It was mainly to test out if adding a delrin spacer to the MPCC reduced the coma on the right. It made it worse so i reckon the focuser has some tilt. Also, guiding accuracy was over 1" rms and my image scale is 0.88" so its a constant fight with a big Newtonian! I might have to have a dabble with those refractors everybody raves about....? The upcoming bad weather may give a clue! 40 x 60s at ISO800, 15 darks, 30 flats and bias, dithered hard.
