Wide field low power for st80

Hi all, I am looking for a reasonable priced wide field of view, low power eyepiece to use as a finder for my st80. The red dot finder is great at lower altitudes but a pain in the neck - literally - for higher objects.  Any thoughts? Thanks

Does wearing glasses enlarge your dilated pupil beyond the norm then ?

No, but I find the distance with my current glasses results in some light loss. That is most noticeable looking for fainter stars and nebulae. My glasses lenses could be reflecting back or away light from an eyepiece.

Definitely things are brighter when not wearing glasses.

Using the pair of TV 40s when bino viewing, without glasses (so far only with my C8), the images are noticeably dimmer.
