Calendar Discussion - Lunar X Visible (UK: 20/06/2018 18:42)

Recommended Posts

A little lower than the April event but still should be a good one.

Starting at 6.42pm at around 40 degrees altitude, finishing at 11.03pm at around 20 degrees.

Thanks for the reminder of my reminder Ade :)

Just had a super quick Tak session on it, looked lovely at low power in the 24mm, and also at higher power with the 6mm.

Hyginus crater and rille very clear near the V too

I've had wonderful views through the Omni 102ED tonight best through the 18mm and 10mm BCOs.

The Hyginus crater and rille were crystal clear and highly detailed through the 10mm but were clearly visible through the 18mm too.
