Took the scopes mount out today to level it accuratly on the uneven patio where I observe from, leveled it up ok then put markers on 2 of the legs to remind me which way round it was, then thought "how will I know where it was on the patio, I know, I'll mark the position of the mounts feet on the patio", the only thing I could find was some white paint so I carefully painted round the pads and took the mount inside, when I came back out there are these 3 white circles staring up at me, Wifes not best pleased.

It's actually a very good idea and lots of people do this, but SWMBO always disagrees with most things astronomical
