I had to remove the dewshield from the  scope as it was catching the balcony rail as I captured these images. 

I'm not sure if the blue fringing is because I forgot to check the ADC, or the fact that it was so light when i started imaging.

Wowser! Well done! Still waiting to have a crack at Mars with my C8 to with my ASI 120 mc. If I get anything half as good as your images I will be pleased!

Great start Angie with two fine images, sometimes the cloud detail on mars shows blue, some of mine from 2014 have a blue haze on the fringes & they were taken at high alt so maybe not the adc!

Great result indeed Angie. I've no Idea what the season is on Mars
at present, but that Polar Cap looks huge.
Also, a good indication that the outer planets do display phase.

Thats a very impressive natural looking Mars image Angie, your processing is excellent as usual. It looks like a barlow is going to be the order of day on this elusive planet.

It  seems from the Calsky simulation that some surface detail has been obscured by the dust spreading around Mars.

I should have said in the OP that the image has been enlarged to 120%.

Great image, Angie! I got some blue fringing as well when I imaged Mars and I'm thinking it's from the Martian atmosphere. A friend told me that the whitish feature at the bottom of my image (taken on June 10) was actually an albedo feature and not a polar cap. I thought for sure it was one, but it was too large an area.
