Are GSO Eyepieces FOV Bogus?

Came across this review of the GSO 42mm 65 degree eyepiece. What do you think?

Some probably are over (or even under) stated in the specs. This is not unusual, unfortunately. I've tried quite a few eyepieces from different brands over the years that were not quite as the specs say.

It is disappointing for such a modest wide angle AFOV claimed ep to be not WA at all, especially a 2 inch ep.

I would expect 70+ to be overstating in some cases, but not 65, which is only an Erfle AFOV. Probably, as in the case of advertised eye relief, the figure is correct for the optics outside their housing.
