May 29, 2018: Another H-alpha lunch session

Recommended Posts

Had the scope out again. A beautiful prom showing clearly (despite high haze) at the 5 o'clock position. Best views were in single stack mode. The disk itself shows extensive activity around the sole AR, and double stack views suggests it is flaring. Several passers by came and had a look, and were suitably impressed.

Nice report.  Have been observing it through some high haze late in the evening after work for the last couple of days - some nice detail on show at the moment in these activity starved times
