4 Moons in one shot...

Captain Scarlet

Sunday 27th May was forecast to be a clear night over SW London, I had an observing plan and my Mak 127 set up outside ready to begin.

Unfortunately, as the picture below reveals, it was not clear: there were wide swathes of herringbone cloud scudding across.

But there were enough gaps to make for a potentially interesting Moon + Jupiter picture, so instead I quickly set up my camera. One of the shots gave me what I was hoping for: wrath-of-God style clouds and 4 Moons on display.

Canon 7Dmk2, EOS 200mm f/1.8L, 1/125 sec f/1.8 ISO1600.

Cheers, Magnus

Very artsy image....

Perhaps your weather guy is same as the one down here.... who almost never gets it right, and I mean almost NEVER... but I think I worked out why that is... he's googling Sydney Weather before he reads it out, but Goodle is showing him weather for Sydney Missouri instead of Sydney Australia.
