Anyone around Romford

Hi I'm new to stargazing and I've just got my new telescope. Is there anyone around the romford area that meet up and go out every once in a while. I could do with some pointers and it's a lot safer going in a group than out by your self. Let me know if you don't mind me tagging along.

Hi Ross, none of us get out that often but occasionally we go to Margaret roding near Chelmsford, I'll post on here if / when we ever get out again.

Havastro in Upminster go to weald country park sometimes , might be worth approaching them .
