M101 Pinwheel - First Image After A Break

I've not been imaging for a few years but recently I've managed to find the some time, so I dusted off the kit and tried to recall how to do it all again.

This is my first attempt with a small amount of data so I can get used to it all again, I've still got lots of questions but it's good to be imaging again.

About the image:

6 x 240s Lights of L, R, G & B (1x1 binned)

Flats applied. No darks or bias used.

Equipment is as per my signature.

I'm not sure if my exposure time/binning is optimum for this type of capture. I've read that RGB can be captured at 2x2 bin and at shorter exposures than the luminance, so any pointers would be appreciated.

Also, i did most of my imaging with DSLR, so don't have a lot of experience with mono CCD. I think this is maybe why I've some funny looking star colours. Again, any points here would be appreciated.

Thanks for looking,

Russell
