Show us your "Scopes"

Recommended Posts

With a lot of us now being lucky enough to be able to have more than one scope in our possession. Then I thought I would start a post to show what the members currently have in their collection.

These days the old debate of what is "best " seems to of subsided slightly from a frac, reflector ,Mak " ect. And people are beginning to realise all of the types of scopes we have available, have there place.

So with many of us having numerous scopes , I thought it would be of interest to both the newbie and more experienced observer to see what the members have in their scope collection.

Only rule please ,is all scopes must fit into one picture ☺

Pic 2: Orion Optics SPX 12" F/5.3 on "Moonshane" dobsonian mount

Sorry no can do, I have over 40 and most are too large to move for a single photo. Which one would you like to see?   :icon_biggrin:

Gosh it must be that time of year again. Yes a bit of a challenge compressing all into one picture. Here is my current 'family line-up', Idly gracing the back room, managed to snuck in my binoculars to.

Ditto. Even with a paltry nine I'd need to shoot them from the air to fit them all in!

My number of scopes has increased a little recently - I now have 11. The photo below is missing my 100mm Tak and a little 35mm Lunt solar scope but otherwise everything is there. At least I don’t only own refractors now ?
