Ive done a rework on some previous images with a 20% upscale!

The images were taken with a meade 305 - skyris 236m camera!

What effect did upscaling 20% have? At what stage did you do the upscaling?

Hi Peter

The upscaling did not seem to have deteriorated the original captures at all showing a little more detail around the grs in the RGB image!

I always increase the the capture size in post processing only if I think the image warrants it! The original avis were reprocessed using a bigger percentage of stacks, maybe should have said reprocessed & upscaled Peter sorry for any confusion!

Im finding the bigger mirror very difficult to cool to be honest Martyn, but the cat cooler certainly helps rectify the problem! I think the scope will be better on dim Saturn where light grasp will be key! Will probably be using the C9 for the rest of the Jupiter apparition!
