Should I buy?

I'd look for a better quality scope.... there are some bad reviews of the NatGeo scopes and you might end up with something that will deliver views that might turn you off a hobby that through better equipment the views would be as different as chalk and cheese.

I started off with a Tasco 4ETE, (also 40x40mm), in my mid-teens. I am now in my mid 50's. :icon_salut:

The good thing about it way back then, Tasco made telescopes. It included a ten year guarantee/warranty. I got to see some craters on the Moon, Mizar & Alcor, the Galilean moons of Jupiter, managed to see Saturn's rings... just! ...and made a great little 'scope for solar projection of sunspots. :evil62:
