Big Cluster - Small scope

M13. Taken through a recently purchased SW ED72 with a canon 1000D. 10 x 3 min subs unguided on an HEQ5. As usual there has been a lot of debate across the web about this glass and that glass for the objective but I'm pleased with the results. CA seems well controlled and the detail is good. I've included a cropped section giving a closer view of the cluster. Looking forward to imaging the North America Neb with this wide-field set up

Thanks Gus and Philip. I sometimes like the wide field shots and getting away from the black art of auto guiding. Nice and simple point and shoot !

Nice image Trevor, and very handy as I now have something to compare mine with, which I’m just going to post. You have a lot more detail in the core and better star colours.
