Brinders
Hello all,Here's my first attempt at photographing a deep sky object. It's the double cluster in Perseus taken last night (October 8th 2008) using my Samsung GX10 DSLR. 30 seconds through a 1 1/2" prism and a WO Megrez 72 APO refractor on a Skywatcher EQ6 Pro mount.Processed in Paintshop Pro and Registax to remove the very evident sky glow in the original RAW data. Not the best pic ever of this subject I know, but it's my first deep sky! Psychobilly
Just a quick off topic question...What Defines "widefield"?The "66" with the WO FF III and a DSLR produces an image of the sky about 4.2 x 2.8 degrees (or should that be did ... I still haven't tried imaging through it post accident..)I usually post those image here... mainly nebs I know but also the occasional cluster...Billy... CELESCOPE
Normally like to see constellations and open clusters etc in wide field, it is a thin line i know, and also a very wide field of say M57 where its just a small objectRog
