Saturn - hand held

What a great night and great seeing, apart from onesnow shower.

At the risk of having the **** taken out of me heres a shot of Saturn (my 1st ), taken with a coolpix 4300 hand held.

No detail bit yiu can at least tell what it is,I think

You can tell what it is alright Martin a good effort and really good for a hand held shot they are tough to get.

Great effort that Martin, I wouldn't even like to attempt hand holding an astrophotograph so all credit to you, shows what great potential there is in your scope for imaging.

I've got plenty of pics of Saturn like that whenI've taken a handheld pic.

If you put the camera to take a photo at 1/60 of a second it will remove any camera shake and although the image is dim you can bring Saturn out with processing.

Martin I like that image of Saturn taken handheld it got a real spooky look to it almost ghostlike you want to keep that image for future use look at it squintingly can you see anything else?

ehhh no one takes the p***** here Martin , good try mate , and u have it centred shows what it is , , to me looks like the focus only , now hands on hips !! are you getting TOUCAM FOR THAT LOVELY SCOPE EHEHHEH
