NGC 6992 PART OF THE VEIL NEBULA

Recommended Posts

A clear night , makes change, managed to catch another image , although 2 hrs wasted ,with troubles ,seems to be a habit lately ,so once again shortened subs, just managed 13 x7 min subs on this one , if clear tomorrow may try for more , but pretty happy with the result, tried to keep as much of the nebulosity that surrounds this part of the veil.

Imaging scope Equinox 120 ,and guide scope Equinox 80 , HA 6mn used ,

Cheers

I think this thing has put on a show for you Rog. It seems to have added a few more tendrils mate. What a beauty, Mono has the edge here I reckon.

Another excellent image Rog, you have managed to capture very fine detail and lovely smooth natural processing. Great image :thumbright:

Fine structure revealed, it has a 3D effect if you stare at it.
