KAYCE Posted April 21, 2018 Share Posted April 21, 2018 Quite puzzled by this red star,taken Friday 20th,looking North/West,a few degrees below the moon. 1/50sec,F6/3,ISO 800.400mm.I took 2 photo's of this,never taken a star photo so bright red. would be pleased to have some comments. almcl Posted April 21, 2018 Share Posted April 21, 2018 Betelgeuse - Alpha Orionis mag 0.6 (a red giant) would be quite low to the horizon on Friday, a few degrees below the moon.
