HELP NEEEDED! Combining and colour balancing planetary RGB data

Recommended Posts

Despite the appalling seeing last night, I've managed top salvage a workable set of LRGB data although there's only about 250 frames in each image.

But my colour balance seems irreparable!

Should I be wavelet processing the channels before combining (as I have done) or afterwards?

Have I got my layers in the wrong order?

All advice welcome.

Sorry can't help but I am hoping to be doing this myself in the near future, so will watch the replies with interest.

I am guessing you do the wavelets first in each channel, then combine the colours.

Your colour combination looks right, but you seem to have over-exposed either in the processing or capture.

I think something is wrong with the colours - I can't get rid of the magenta/green colour cast, so I may have the layers muddled?

Here's a darker version...

This looks more natural with blue as red, red as green and green as blue... I think  I have got muddled

Far from perfect but I think that's my mistake:
