Not so much a meeting, but a kind of reminder to anyone in Somerset and Wiltshire that WAS meet up once a month (and once more a month for a viewing night)...and publish a free PDF based newsletter, on local/regional and other activities we are involved with.

This month is a report on the Star Party at Sir Patrick Moore's, info on a large scale observatory project we are working on in Southern Spain, sky notes, ISS info, Faulkes Telescope (Dr Sarah Roberts was our speaker yesterday...and utterly superb it was too!), and some members images.

Membership is £15 a year, which gets you access to telescopes we have for loan, tons of advice, the newsletter in print form, and this year, for our summer outing, we are planning to give free admission access to the William Herschel Museum in Bath, along with a very special speaker we have lined up.
