Sneaky Day off + Sol =

Recommended Posts

Happy John.

So I have a long weekend just for the sake of a long weekend, and lo, there's spots. Happy days.

Had to dust off the processing lappy :)

Seeing was awful first thing (full disk) but went back an hour later for the close up (inset) and it had improved a little.

Disc is 30 frames at 1/2000 ISO 100 with the 102 frac and the wedge.

Close up is 500 of 4000 frames with 2.5x barlow.

Pipp>AS!3>IMPPG>Photoshop.

Aaah, I spotted that lot creeping around the corner yesterday in Ha.  I will get the WL out tomorrow and have a gander.  Thanks for posting.

From the early morning heads up, I was minded to get out with the Tamron 150-600 + WL filter. No idea what I got as yet, still in the camera.

Nice image John, + the diagram

Definitely worth following in WL Chris. Just looking at SOHO and I think it might still be developing.

Nice WL John, just got back from a couple of blue skies days away so hope it's still clear tomorrow.

Nice timing with the day off John.

Must be something about April, I bagged a week off when AR2645 was in it's prime last year, had good weather too.

Excellent work, John!  Thanks for "going back" for the close-up.  It just set that image off perfectly.

Clear Skies
