PhD guiding assistants

Hi guys

Does anyone know how to turn this on

I am sitting here at Kelling clueless 

Some  of the guys said use this and would help sort it my guiding

Hi. Choose a star and start guiding first. Then choose the assistant. HTH.

Done that but does not seem to do anything the start button does not ligh up

Did the phd2 calibration complete? As Alacant said you need to guide first.

So you have to click on the looping button and then choose a star and click on guiding, it will then try to calibrate and guide after it finishes.  When it does you choose the guiding assistant, it should work.
