Hello,

I live in the U.S. but was born in Ireland.

I am on another big astronomical forum but I said to myself, I would give this one a try also.

I own a 8 inch Orion Dob, a 80mm Orion refractor and a couple of pairs of binoculars. I would like a GoTo scope as well, but my wife would

kill me if I expanded my family of instruments.

I first started observing back in my teens with a Tasco 'scope, but I took a break for about 20 years and only

started stargazing again in recent years. I currently live in a light polluted urban area, but I hope to move soon

to a more rural area, and start enjoying the night sky more.  I am probably not a beginner as such, but I do ask

a lot of questions, I hope I don't wear out peoples patience with my questions! ;)

I hope I am posting this post in the right place!
