Achieving “0” is at the exact vertical position

Hi Guys

I am trying to achieve a perfect polar alignment on my EQ5 mount

The polar scope has the latest clock face configuration and I am wondering whether I have rotated the RA axis enough to achieve the “0” of the clock face exactly at the top position.

Is there a foolproof method of achieving this?

I suppose you could level it, fit a weight and hang a plum bob from the end of the weight bar, adjust until its vertical then lock the clutch and move the polar scope if necessary to get it perfect, probably wouldn't bother myself but no harm in trying if you want too.
