Mark at Beaufort

Ha observing 14/04 - The Sun at last!!!

Recommended Posts

The Sun is nicely out in Hereford although we have some misty high cloud. I picked up the thread by @xtreemchaos  - thanks Charl which showed some Proms. I took out the PST which showed the Proms but I needed the Double Stack which gave a much better view including Plage around sunspot AR2704 although I could not see the Spot itself when trying to get a 'white light' view. Also a small filament but only visible with the DS.

OK not the best solar observing but at least it was interesting to see this rare ball again
