As above.  Can anybody recommend a good one? Preferably able to use it on both a dob and a mak 127.  The only ones I’ve found have been cheap looking ones on eBay.

Thanks Stu.  I'll have a shufty around that type, and see what crops up.  Ideally, I'd like one that can handle an iPad mini too, plus 1.25" and 2" eyepieces.  Might be asking a bit much there, but it'd be nice :)

Why not make your own. Think I saw some on here had bought a cheap case and had glued a peice of plastic plumbing pipe to the case over the camera area and this plumbing pipe was sized to fit over the eyepiece. They had used stuff they had knocking around.

Ive have 2. I got mine from ebay, one metalic and sturdy and the other plastic. In all honesty they are a pain to set up, align and even capture anything with it. I must have used mine a handfull of times.... phone photography just isn't great... Just bright dots with barely noticable features. Sorry if this sounded negative lol I was just so so underwhelmed by mine.

I have this one and it works really well. It's not inexpensive though. The only downside to it is it doesn't fit my larger eyepieces like my ES82 30mm. I used it to capture the image of Orion in my profile pic with my phone.

Thanks each.  That’s given me some food for thought. I shall definitely grab one, as I took some nice moon pics with my iPhone and am sufficiently inspired ?

If you're still after a mount, then I have one of these which I would be happy to sell as I no longer us it.

Moderators, please remove this message if not appropriate :-)

Now that phone holder looks the business and is the weight of a biggish eyepiece. Hmmmmm.?

Moderators please be kind. This has been very helpful.

I use a cheap ebay holder for my smartphone, which has a circular 'clamp' that goes around the top of the eyepiece (see below) . It holds the camera at the ideal distance from my 25mm eyepiece to focus and I get great shots from it, however I can't focus on any other eyepieces  (I don't think it gets close enough).

It might not focus with all eyepieces but still looks clever to me?

Drop me a PM if you'd like to buy mine. Hardly used :-)
