M93 Open Cluster in Puppis

Recommended Posts

I ticked off another of the low altitude Messier targets, open cluster M93 in Puppis (extend the line from Orion's belt through Sirius and head about half as far again). The data was captured on 8th and 20th March with a QSI583wsg-5 through my 4" TSAPO100Q - RGB=3x600 each. No L data for this one as transitting at <14 degrees from my location it was really difficult getting usable RGB, with several aborted attempts between 8th and 20th and a lot of discarded data due to horizon hugging cloud and LP (yes I still get that from a small town about 4 miles away SW from my very rural location :hmh:).

The image is cropped to better feature this small cluster.
