Fits to tiff files

Hi guys,I'm just getting started playing with my atik 16hr and finally got my spacing sorted out..ive managed to align the frames and stack using the dawn software but the final image is still in fits file format and is the wrong type to open in Photoshop.. so looking for a software to convert from fits to tiff,is fits liberator  the one to use,or any other suggestions  please?

Hi

DSS will let you save in various tiff formats. You just do a 'dummy' registration and stacking. I'm sure there are plenty of file converters around if you Google. Um, I'm not an Atik user but are you sure the Dawn s/w doesn't give you the option to save in different formats?

Thanks , yes I tried DSS and it works just fine..

A friend of mine said the same thing as yourself Louise  so i may of missed something.
