Yes no long subs again tonight ,only 7x7 mins on this one cloud stopped play , then Trudie came around and we set up her bits and pieces for her to start serious imaging.loads of nebulosity around the Neb as well , next clear night i will give this a big bashing looks interesting does this area.

but for now a taster.

imaging scope Equinox 120 ,HA6mn used , guided PHD.

Nice one Roger. It started off clear here tonight as well and I could see the band of the Milky Way fairly clearly but within minutes the cloud came over thickly and then left a thin mist to act as the final spoiler!

looked good up until the point I had achieved focus calibrated the autoguider and settled on the guide star... then within seconds it disapperead

Looks so good as it is Rog, splendid little nebula this one, I don't recall ever seeing it before.
