Lowjiber
I had to capture this two hours before it crossed my meridian today, as high clouds were coming in quickly. At least I got a little action. Thanks for the peek. Clear Skies

Demonperformer
Nice. Is that a star just above (heliocentrically speaking) the prominence?

MarsG76
Excellent detail.. is that noise or a star just off the prom?
Lowjiber
Thanks for spotting my "star" LOL No, I evidently missed a hot pixel. If I had seen it, I would sure have turned it off. LOL Charl, after looking at your captures of the dim proms yesterday, I was ready to try 'em too. However, during the time delay between you and I the one high on the east limb was literally gone. I had put my 80ED on the other mount beside the 100ED with the intention of moving the Quark & cam over to get a richer-field image of that one with some surface detail, but it had disappeared. I'm clouded in again for the next couple of days.
