Narrowband

Heart Nebula HaSHO

This is an experiment as apposed to a complete image.  I have been hunting the short total exposure time beast for a long while, getting tired of 20 hour images that take weeks, or months to complete due to the weather and/or the  Moon.  This image is a narrowband image that contains 5 minute exposures--12 in each if Ha, SII and OIII for a 3 hour image.    I was surprised at the signal level for 300 sec exposures for narrowband as I usually tale 30 min narrow band exposures.  The data was taken 2 years ago with the Televue np101is reduced to F4.3 and the STT-8300 camera.   Maybe this target is bright, but the sub length is getting down into ASI1600 territory (haven't used mine yet for comparison--soon, still waiting on a necessary spacer).
