Eastman
Hello Skyscanners, Here is a small report of the Moon, I went out with my SW 130p flextube. The seeing was exceptionally good, the Moon surface looked as steady as a picture. First up Copernicus, really nice structure inside the crater wall. Beautiful details on Montes Apenninus. Back to 43x magification to make some pictures thru the eyepiece. Than a thin line got my attention, then I remembered this is Rupes Recta a long cliff in Mare Nubium. Bonus by enlarging to 81x when Rima Birt became visible also. Had a great night! Thanks for reading.
Stu
Nice report Eastman! Some really nice features you've seen. The moon is looking wonderful tonight, I've just been out with my Heritage 130 and found it gave excellent views even up to x140, more when the seeing allowed. Great little scope.
