Experiment in false lum channel

Hi, seems like a while since i posted any pics but last week we had a couple of clear nights so i pointed the scope at the Rosette Neb. I got about 5 hours worth of subs taken at 8 mins subs. As i was playing with the data in PI i thought i would have a go with false Lum. not sure i did it right or even what i did was a false lum channel but the result was pleasing so here it is.

Taken with QHY 10 at -15   8 min subs

A lot of gradients to remove but will try that later.

Hints and tips welcome.

Thanks, as I say this is an experiment and very much a WIP.
