M42 restack (once more)

Restacked all the data I captured with the APM 80mm, and this time I really restacked every sub from scratch, using multi-band blending in APP, rather than merge two previous stacks without. I could do this because I used the desktop with 16 GB of RAM rather than my 4 GB laptop, so APP did not run out of memory. I get a much wider field without stacking artefacts by using multi-band blending. Quite a bit of structure is visible in the background, along with too much noise, but this is not bad for just over 3 h of data. Tonight should be clear, so I am aiming to get another couple of hours to add to this.

The core is reasonably controlled, but I might want to do some unsharp masking to bring out more core detail.

As always it is mesmerizing. 

Orion is my favorite nebula (but probably because it is the easiest and one of the few I can find so far) but never believed it could look like this. Post as many of these as you want for me I love looking at them
