Yet Another M31 from Kelling

Another M31 from Kelling. This is my first attempt at M31 and needed a slightly different approach to my normal setup. Imaged this with an unmodded Canon D40 through a WO Megrez 72 with a 0.8x FF attached. Guided with WO FLT110 and DSI II Pro with PhD. Stacked in DSS and tweaked in Photoshop.

Image is in dire need of some decent flats to be added, but I'm reasonably happy with how this has turned out for a first go. Image is stacked 14x5 minute exposures, darks and bias used. I'll get some flats this weekend and re-do but here it is for now!

Looking forward to Kielder to have a better crack at this. Need to up the iso from 400 to 800 and take double the amount of subs 1 hour to 2 hours.
